主要内容:
一、词汇教学:分层聚焦,联动主题
(一)核心词汇:情境化理解与运用
聚焦单元主题 “People of Achievement”,选取描述人物品质、成就及研究过程的核心词汇,结合课文语境拆解,避免孤立记词。
品质类词汇:如 devoted(忠诚的)、determined(坚定的)、ambitious(有抱负的)
语境例句:Tu Youyou was devoted to finding a cure for malaria, which showed her determined spirit.
运用任务:让学生用 “主语 + be + 品质词 + to doing sth” 句式,描述课文中科学家的行为。
成就 / 研究类词汇:如 achievement(成就)、breakthrough(突破)、conduct(开展,实施)
语境例句:Yuan Longping’s major achievement was developing hybrid rice; his team conducted many experiments to make this breakthrough.
运用任务:小组讨论 “Which breakthrough of the scientists impresses you most?”,需用上 3 个以上核心词汇。
(二)拓展词汇:关联生活,深化主题
补充与 “人物成就” 相关的拓展词汇,如 perseverance(毅力)、contribution(贡献)、inspiration(启发),通过 “词汇联想图” 帮助记忆,例如:
中心词:People of Achievement
分支 1:Qualities(devoted, determined, perseverance)
分支 2:Actions(conduct experiments, make breakthroughs)
分支 3:Influence(make contributions, offer inspiration)
二、写作教学:以词汇为基,以主题为纲
(一)写作主题:My Role Model (聚焦有成就的人物)
结合单元主题,让学生描述一位自己敬佩的 “有成就者”(可是科学家、学者或身边有突出贡献的人),要求融入单元所学词汇,结构清晰。
(二)写作指导:分步骤搭建框架
开头:引入人物,点明身份
常用句式:The person I admire most is..., who is famous for.../ As a well-known..., has made great achievements in...
词汇提示:well-known(著名的)、achievements(成就)
示例:The person I admire most is Tu Youyou, who is famous for her great achievements in fighting malaria.
主体:描述品质与成就过程
核心要求:用具体事例体现人物品质,穿插单元词汇(如 determined、conduct、breakthrough)
句式参考:
To achieve this goal, he/she was determined to... and spent years conducting...
Despite difficulties, his/her perseverance helped him/her make a major breakthrough in...
示例:To find the effective component in Artemisia annua, Tu Youyou was determined to test hundreds of samples. She and her team conducted experiments day and night, and finally made a breakthrough.
结尾:表达影响与启示
常用句式:His/Her story inspires me to.../ I learn from him/her that...
词汇提示:inspire(启发)、contribution(贡献)、perseverance(毅力)
示例:Tu Youyou’s devotion and perseverance inspire me to work hard for my dreams. I learn that only by sticking to our goals can we make contributions to society.
(三)写作反馈:聚焦词汇运用与主题贴合
批改时重点关注两点:一是单元核心词汇是否准确融入(如 determined、breakthrough 等);二是事例是否贴合 “有成就者” 的主题,避免内容偏离。对优秀范文进行展示,标注亮点词汇和句式,供学生参考。
